📧 The Mail To Control Just Got a Major Upgrade
The Mail To control has been completely overhauled. It can now send emails directly from CheckFlow — no mail client required. Previously, the Mail To control generated a mailto: link that opened the user's mail client to send a plain text message. It was a useful starting point, but had real limitations: it relied on the user having a mail client configured, required a manual action to actually send, and offered no way to automate or enrich the message. What's changed: Sends directly from CheckFlow Emails are now sent by CheckFlow itself. Recipients receive a properly formatted email without anyone needing to open a mail client. Rich text and HTML body support Compose your email body in Plain Text, Rich Text, or HTML — with full formatting support in Rich Text mode via the built-in editor. Auto-send on task completion Optionally configure the control to send automatically when the task is completed, with no manual action needed. File attachments Include file attachments from the checklist in the outgoing email. Custom sender domain Teams on eligible plans can now configure a custom sender domain so that emails sent from CheckFlow appear to come from your own domain (e.g. notifications@yourcompany.com). Set up your DNS records from the Team Settings page and verify your domain in a few clicks. These changes are available now. If you have any existing Mail To controls in your templates, they will continue to work as before - simply open the control in the Template designer to explore the new options.
